Batteries
- Insert the batteries the right way round (+/-).
- Remove the batteries between usages.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited, i.e. do not allow metal objects to come into contact with the terminals.
- Always use recommended alkaline batteries. Other types of battery will give poorer performance. Some retail chains carry their own brand of batteries. These can often be slightly thicker and this can result in poor connections.
- Only use the product when it is assembled according to instructions.
- Do not mix new and used batteries.
